The blues and whiskey flowed freely this past weekend at Brian O'Brien's. Have mercy.

The P.Tails are on break for the next two weeks. Some scheduling conflicts are going to prevent us from being the opening act at the District's April Fool's Blues Fest next Saturday, and the following weekend we don't have any gigs booked. Our next show will be back at Brian's April 14 & 15.

Last Friday Night: Tha Players

It was a good night for the blues. The P.Tails kicked it off with a set and a half and then our good friend Marky G. joined us onstage for the rest of the night. Later in the third and fourth sets some other friends got up for a song or two. Kent and Kevin from the Supernaturals got up and played great, and last but cetainly not least Jim (I'm not even going to attempt to butcher his last name!) played drums in his usual enegetic and groovacious way.

Blues Party This Friday Night, March 17!

The P.Tails are bringing their quadruple throwdown blues revue to the Stone Face Tavern this weekend. The SFT offers no cover charge, drink specials, and the best dance floor in Albuquerque. The band starts playing at 9:00 pm and after midnight there's bound to be a special musical guest or two.

All in all the gig situation is pretty good considering the current state of the blues and the local nightclub business. There seem to be just enough hard core pleasure seekers and trouble makers out there to keep the Tails from the Crypt afloat. Have mercy.
