Good old Brian's. Jon E wins the MVP award again. Joe sang a tune: "Crazy Mama", and played his Tele - that was a first! Hopefully Joe will continue to bring his Tele (and voice) to the gig. Personally I wanna hear him do "Whammer Jammer", " Low Rider" and maybe even "Orange Blossom Special" if that's not too redneck. We ended with a psychedelic one chord blues in G. More of the same madness is on tap for tonight - see ya there.

Saturday night's crowd was smaller but mightier than the night before.Once the cocktails started kicking in around 11:00 the dance floor filled up, and it stayed that way till after last call.

Legendary singer/songwriter/bassmaster Jimmy Stallings paid us a visit. It's always an honor to have him in the crowd. He's just re-released his 1969 solo album on CD it's called "Heya" and it sounds killer. I'm listening to it right now.
